The Sands Shall Witness is my debut novel, but I've been writing stories since I was eight when my grandmother helped me type a 12-page-long book about a magic dragon that breathed toxic fruit punch.
Since then, I've been drawn both to historical fiction and to African history, which I have studied for years.
As a writer, I hope to bring to life the stories of cultures and peoples often overlooked. And I hope readers will be able to personally relate to characters that may be worlds away.
When I'm not writing I work as an executive coach at Sally Williamson & Associates, helping business leaders bring their own stories to life. In that role, I coauthored Disrupted!: How to Reset Your Brand & Your Career in 2021.
I live in Evergreen, Colorado with my wife and our two bird dogs.
Subscribe to my mailing list for the latest about my second novel: The Law of the Jungle.
When 10-year-old David ventures into a neglected game park in rural Zambia, he meets someone remarkable: an 80 year-old elephant named Jika with a plan to end poaching.
Together, they'll battle the country's legal system to prove once and for all that the creatures of this planet have as much right to it as you and me.
